Category Manager, Indirect Spend

Meridian Procurement Partners is adding a Category Manager to own indirect spend categories for a growing portfolio of technology and healthcare clients.

What you'll do:

• Own category strategy for IT services, SaaS, facilities, and contingent labor
• Lead 8-12 sourcing events per year from market analysis through contract signature
• Negotiate renewals ahead of auto-renewal deadlines and manage supplier performance
• Work directly with client budget owners to align sourcing plans with business goals

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years managing indirect categories, ideally including SaaS or IT services
• Hands-on RFP and negotiation experience - this is a doing role, not just a strategy role
• Familiarity with procure-to-pay tools (Coupa, Ivalua, SAP Ariba, or similar)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
